Concerned with materiality and texture, Lucy‘s practice is driven by the aim to shape the process of perception and to draw attention to the act of looking itself.
Rooted in photography she uses alternative printing processes to push the medium beyond the constraints of flat two dimensionality. Abstract imagery of folds and textures is hand-printed onto paper through a print transfer process, blurring the line between object and image.
Lucy graduated from the BA Photography course at Falmouth University in 2017 with a first class honours degree. After several international internships she went on to study art history and italian at the Freie Universität Berlin for a year before moving to Frankfurt am Main in 2019 where she is attending the Aesthetics Master.
